Graduates could also go on to become e.g. Protestant ministers by studying in the Netherlands, or clerks in service of the VOC. More was located in the old Dutch town next to the fort, what is now the Pettah. The building has also been the residence of the Dutch governor. Currently, it is in use as the Dutch Period Museum.
